A destination driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Kigali at 8:00 am after breakfast and you proceed on this tour around the dazzling streets of Kigali. You will visit the Gisozi genocide memorial site in Kigali where you will learn the story of the 1994 Rwandan genocide against the Tutsi during which thousands of children and adults were brutally killed. You will also get to see numerous photographs, clothes, weapons used in the murder, and bones of these victims.
After this, you will proceed to the Belgian Peacemaker Memorial Museum where you will get to learn about the 10 Belgian soldiers who were killed during the 1994 Rwandan genocide after being accused of being responsible for the missile attack that caused the plane crash and hence death of the Rwandan and Burundian presidents at that time.
Visiting Central Part of Rwanda
You will also get to visit the central part of Rwanda which is highly developed and modern and see the Kigali Convention Centre, a magnificent place where different guests from all over the world bring their conferences to Africa.
