The 3 Days Birding Tour takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park has about 611 bird species. These include forest birds, savannah and water birds, also migrant birds and residents. The major activities include game viewing drive along the Kasenyi Trail, Nature walk, Boat trip along the Kazinga Channel for a wide variety of bird species such as Grey Capped Warbler, White’s and Abdim's Storks, Amur Falcon, Ovampo Sparrowhawk, Wooly-necked and Saddle-billed Storks Vultures and Plovers and other bird species.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at the Hotel, depart for Queen Elizabeth national park western Uganda, with a stop at the equator for photographs, lunch in Mbarara Town and proceed to arrive late afternoon. Take a walk to Lake katwe, watch the local methods of mining salt as you enjoy the clear view of Rwenzori Mountains of the moon and some game viewing and we drive back to Mweya Safari Lodge or Hippo Hill for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game drive-Launch cruise at Kazinga Channel
Wake up early for a cup of tea/coffee and embark on a game drive to catch up with early raisers and predators as they return to their hide outs. Expect to see some of the “big 5”; Lions, Leopards, Cape Buffaloes and Elephants, other include Giant Forest Hogs, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda cobs, Topi, Bush bucks and many more. Return to the lodge for full breakfast and relax as we wait for lunch.
After lunch, gather your strength for launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa, 611 birds species such as the African horn bill saddle billed stork, hadada ibis, shoebill, and sacred ibis among others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Hippo Hill.
Day 3: Maramagambo Nature walk – Departure
Morning breakfast and set off to maramagambo forest for bird watching and caves exploration, later depart for Kampala with lots of game viewing en-route, lunch in Mbarara, arrive in Kampala by late evening. Dinner and overnight at you’re the Lodge, Kampala Forest Cottages
